Fable III

Had the incredible experience of diving into a real exploration of interactive storytelling by developing and directing the cinema scenes for the AAA Xbox 360 title Fable III.  Many thanks for the collaboration with Peter Molyneux and team.

In close association with Lionhead, we developed and produced more than thirty scenes during the last few months of production on the game.  Notably, this is a real version interactive media, where the character you choose and play in the game with all the unique attributes of character, clothes and weaponry is repeated with virtual seamlessness in the interlude scenes.  Yes, real custom and uniquely personal interactive cinema!

Thanks to the incredibly dedicated tech team at Lionhead for working that through with us… as well as Fable game director Josh Atkins, animation lead Si St. Jacques, writer Mark Hill and audio producer Georg Becker, among others.

This game trailer, produced by Avenue as well, features a multitude of cinema scenes from Fable III.   Inspired, we included a music score we had arranged and performed from Beethoven’s 9th Symphony.  A symphony, incidentally, that was played in Berlin for the fall of the Berlin Wall.  Talk about revolution…

Merck

Scenario based story telling. Actors telling the story of real technology developed as a pilot for the partner company. Presented as a vision of how things can be: accomplished as part of a 3 part series, all executed for the cost that an L.A. based production company bid for one.
